The much anticipated "Spring Fling" for 2017 is now in the past and from all reports, a good time was had by all. As well as the speaker Terry Fallis, there was also a presentation by First Nations representative John Watson - photo at right. This included a demonstration of drumming and as he said, this is a common type of activity amongst a wide range of cultures. He said that we relate to it because it's similar to the heart beat of our mothers that we heard before we were born.
